Born & Raised in Connecticut. Painting Since 1988
A Third–Generation Painter You Can Trust With Your Home.
I’m John Wills. I’ve been painting Connecticut Shoreline homes since I founded this company in 1988. In that time I’ve built a reputation for superior craftsmanship, honest pricing, and treating every customer like a neighbor. Because most of them are.

Why Choose Us
What Sets Us Apart
The Prep Is Everything
Anyone can put paint on a wall. What separates a job that lasts from one that peels in two years is what happens before the brush comes out: the washing, the scraping, the priming, the caulking. My crew does every step, every time. No shortcuts.
Superior Craftsmanship, Fair Pricing
I’ve built this business on repeat customers and referrals. That doesn’t happen by cutting corners or padding invoices. The price I quote you is the price you pay. The work I deliver is work I’m proud to put my name on.
A Local Business That Gives Back
I’ve lived in these communities my whole life. I sponsor local youth sports leagues and support organizations like The Cove Center for Grieving Children. When you hire me, your money stays local.

What We Do. And Why It’s Done Right.
I’ve been painting homes across the Connecticut Shoreline since 1988, and I’ve learned one thing that doesn’t change: the prep is everything.
Interior Painting
Walls, ceilings, trim, and doors. Low-VOC options available. We protect your home while we work and leave it clean when we’re done.
Exterior Painting
Siding, trim, doors, shutters, fences, garages, and barns. Proper prep every time. Wash, scrape, prime, before applying weather-resistant coatings built for coastal Connecticut.
House Washing
Eco-friendly power washing removes mold, mildew, algae, and salt buildup. All soaps and chemicals are biodegradable. Safe for your plants, pets, and the Shoreline environment.
Our Process
What Happens Before We Open a Can of Paint
-
Step 01
Free Estimate
I come out personally, walk the property, and look at every surface. I’ll flag anything that needs special attention (rot, failing caulk, areas that need extra primer) before we agree on a price. No surprises later.
-
Step 02
Power Washing
Every exterior job starts with a thorough wash. Paint applied over salt residue, mold, or dirt won’t bond. We wash first, period.
-
Step 03
Scraping, Sanding & Caulking
We remove all failing paint, sand edges smooth, fill gaps and cracks with exterior-grade caulk, and address any wood damage we find. This is the step a lot of painters rush through. We don’t.
-
Step 04
Priming
Bare wood and problem areas get primed before we paint. Primer is what makes paint stick and last. Skipping it is how you end up calling someone back in two years.
-
Step 05
Paint Application
Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore exterior lines, exclusively. Most projects get two coats. We pick the right finish and formulation for each surface.
-
Step 06
Cleanup & Walkthrough
We clean up completely and walk the job with you before we pack up. If something isn’t right, we fix it before we leave.
